Will graduated from Imperial College, first with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, followed by a PhD in the 3D simulation of extreme ocean waves. During his career he has worked for General Dynamics, RMS and Lloyds register, in each case working in the numerical modelling of mechanical and natural systems. In 2012 he progressively started working on the technologies that now form CCell, starting with the wave paddle.
Away from work, Will interests and passions revolve around water sports (including kitesurfing and kayaking), cycle touring, hiking and adventure racing.
