James joined CCell in 2018 after achieving a First Class Hons with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge for his work with British Cycling on the Dynamics of Bicycles.
At CCell, James first worked on the design, structural FEA modelling and manufacture the second generation composite wave paddle. He has since worked across all segments of the company, including the development of web and mobile software solutions, numerical models, and most recently the design of low-level embedded software found within our proprietary power regulating modules. James now oversees the design and assembly of all CCell products.
James’ passion for the Environment and the natural world extends far outside his work at CCell and have him frequently visiting the Arboretum at Kew Gardens, disappearing into the Scottish Wilderness and constantly growing his collection of house plants.
